Announcement from the desk of Melanie Meador,
Operations Director at The Salon Professional Academy
Students, Guests and Staff:
This is an unprecedented time for all of us and developments are evolving daily. Everyone’s health and safety are our top priority to guard against exposure and/or spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). With that being said, The Salon Professional Academy will be closed until March 24, 2020. During that time, we will continually monitor and adapt to the situation.
On March 24, 2020, we will open our doors to students and staff only. During our closure, we will be sanitizing, making plans for classes, seating, lunches, projects and curriculum keeping in mind CDC recommendations of space, distance and contact. This temporary school closure will not negatively affect your scheduled hours.
We ask that during this time of closure, all students and staff limit outside contact and stay at home, as much as possible. This will help mitigate exposure to the virus.
We are aware some students may not be able to return on March 24, 2020 for reasons such as childcare, health reasons, pregnancy, and concerns about contracting COVID-19 (Coronavirus). For those students, a Leave of Absence (LOA) will be granted for the dates of 3/24/2020 through 4/6/2020. A Leave of Absence must be requested in writing by e-mailing a statement with your reason to Ms. Chris at firstname.lastname@example.org no later than March 23, 2020.
Students, concerning your personal items and supplies, The Academy will be open tomorrow, Wednesday, March 18 from 9am -12 pm. Please stop by during that time to clear out your stations for cleaning purposes.
Guests, for the health and safety of everyone and upon the recommendations of local and federal officials, The Salon Professional Academy has made the decision to cancel all guest services until early April. We apologize for any inconvenience. Someone from our staff will be reaching out to you soon to reschedule your services.
We thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. We hope everyone stays healthy and we look forward to seeing you back at The Academy soon!
